Slave Play debuted on Broadway in the Fall of 2019 and returned in the Fall of 2021 as part of Broadway's post-shutdown reopening. In the Spring of 2022, Slave Play MADE its West Coast Premiere at Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles.

In addition to a digital resource hub, More To Talk About hosted 9 public conversations with the cast/creatives of SLAVE PLAY centered on healing, racial trauma, sex and relationships, and mental health. The hub and conversations made necessary space for the nearly 300,000 audience members who were "still processing" the activated story and for those who never saw Slave Play but were provoked by the concept and eager to learn more. The conversations were then adapted into 8 podcast episodes - officially launching the More To Talk About Podcast.

The hub and conversations provided 113k audience members with calls-to-action to increase their civic engagement. In the fall of 2021, playwright Jeremy O. Harris announced that he was pulling his show SLAVE PLAY from the Center Theatre Group season because of the appalling lack of women and non-binary playwrights programmed across their season. In response, Center Theatre Group apologized, took accountability, and made a new commitment to marginalized playwrights beginning with a promise to program an entire season of women and/or non-binary playwrights, especially of color. More To Talk About hosted and captured the landmark conversation between the playwrights of this first-of-its-kind season at Center Theatre Group.
